Evangeline creates mixed media works on canvas. 
She uses collage, drawing and painting 
infused into expressive works of art. Her love 
of colour and design comes through in her bright, 
bold works that could light up a room. Collage has 
recently picked up as a recognised fine art form, 
and Evangeline is at the forefront of this movement. 
She loves the nostasgia that it brings, even if she 
does suffer from guilt from time to time over tearing 
up books.



 

Qualifications

Currently undertaking a Master of Visual Arts from Monash University, 
Bachelor of Art and Design, 2002.
   

Modus Operandi

Cachinero’s themes in her artwork are a reflection of herself: 
stubborn towards conformity, refusing to be defined, always 
moving forward, bright and quirky, expressive yet with objective, 
philosophical and crafty. She changes her theme and maybe even 
style on a yearly basis.
